you'd be a fool if you let him slip away without a fight.

I'm reading this book The Choice by Nicholas Sparks right now by the very same author who wrote A Walk To Remember and The Notebook - a personal favorite that I still read up till today from time to time. I recently told someone that if I were to ever write a book based on my life experiences from the age of 16, it would have been titled THE CHOICE as well. Which is exactly why the book caught my eye when I was at a bookstore in Phuket. Bought that along with My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult which was recommended to me by a friend. I'm a chapter away from finishing Sparks' novel and I must say this book impacts me the same way The Notebook did. I don't want to go into detail but for the bookworms out there, i'd say..own it. It's worth the read, i promise.

A couple a posts back i mentioned how i was conflicted and how i needed a lot more convincing. I definitely got that in more ways than one as of late. The conversations, the tears, the wishes, the card. Especially the card that still sits on my table. The words, your own words. It's funny how you have all these feelings buried deep within you but you never ever voice them till the need arises. Some times you don't need a reason to mention things like that. Because words like these are meant to be heard. It could save something worth saving. Fighting for what it's worth! Who was I kidding? Who the hell was I trying to convince? Nobody but myself. In the end, I played myself for a fool. But I snapped back to reality woke up and saw the bigger picture. On to the 10th month and we're still hanging on to dear life, speaks for itself right there. Here's to clarity.

6 billion people, 6 billion souls and sometimes all you need is 1;

case closed.

I won’t ease your strain

In the end it's these small things that you remember, the little imperfections that make them perfect for you.

I was on facebook earlier today and at the side of the window there was a video entitled 'Funeral' with a subheading that read, 'A woman shares the story of her Beautifully Imperfect relationship at her husband's funeral.'

At the end of those three minutes I was already teary eyed and reminiscing. It's true how your flaws make you unique in ways only one may think so, that being your better half. Most people point out your flaws and make it apparent that they stick out like a sore thumb and sometimes make you change (for the better, or so they claim). But I personally feel that imperfections are what make you who you are. If someone loves you with your flaws and all, they've loved you for you're perfect to them in every way.

you know i've always loved you, flaws and all.
